Everything a limited companyhas to file, handled.
Accounts, Corporation Tax, confirmation statements, payroll and your own tax return, all under one fixed fee, with advice on the most tax-efficient way to take money out.

What makes your finances different.
Two sets of filings
A company files accounts with Companies House and a tax return with HMRC, on different deadlines and in different formats. The director then files a personal return as well.
The money is not yours yet
Company profit belongs to the company until it is paid out as salary, dividend or pension. Taking it the wrong way, or before the profit exists, creates director's loan charges and S455 tax.
Director pay is a calculation
The right mix of salary and dividends changes with every Budget. For 2026/27 the basic and higher dividend rates rose by two points to 10.75% and 35.75% (the additional rate stays 39.35%), which shifts the balance towards pension contributions for many directors.
Companies House is tightening up
Identity verification for directors and people with significant control became mandatory in 2025, and small companies will soon have to file a profit and loss account. Compliance is no longer a formality.
What we do for you.
- Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102 Section 1A or FRS 105 and file them at Companies House

- Calculate the optimal salary and dividend mix and prepare dividend vouchers and board minutes
- Run director and staff payroll with RTI submissions and pension auto-enrolment
- File the annual confirmation statement and keep the statutory registers

- Prepare the directors' personal Self Assessment returns
- Handle VAT registration and quarterly returns if the company is registered
The tax rules that matter here.
- Corporation Tax
- 19% on profits up to £50,000, 25% from £250,000, marginal relief between. Limits are shared between associated companies. Tax is due nine months and one day after the year end; the return within twelve months.
- Dividends in 2026/27
- The £500 dividend allowance is tax-free; above it dividends are taxed at 10.75% in the basic band, 35.75% in the higher band and 39.35% in the additional band. Dividends can only be paid from accumulated post-tax profit.
- Director's salary
- A salary of £12,570 uses the personal allowance, earns a State Pension qualifying year and is deductible for Corporation Tax. Employer's National Insurance of 15% applies above £5,000 unless the Employment Allowance is available.
- Overdrawn director's loans
- If a director owes the company money nine months after the year end, the company pays S455 tax at 33.75% of the balance. It is repaid when the loan is cleared, but the cash is tied up in the meantime.
- Employer pension contributions
- Contributions the company makes to a director's pension are deductible for Corporation Tax and carry no National Insurance or income tax at the point of payment, within the £60,000 annual allowance.

Worth asking.
A limited company accountant prepares and files the statutory accounts, Corporation Tax return and confirmation statement, runs payroll, advises on how directors should pay themselves, and handles VAT and the directors' personal tax returns. Most firms, including ours, bundle this into a fixed monthly fee.
For an owner-managed company, London fees typically run from around £100 to £300 a month depending on transaction volume, VAT, payroll and whether bookkeeping is included. We send a written quote for the agreed scope before any work starts.
For most sole directors, a salary of £12,570 plus dividends is the starting point, with employer pension contributions for anything you do not need to spend. With dividend rates now 10.75% and 35.75%, the gap between dividends and salary has narrowed, so the right answer depends on your total income. Our salary vs dividend calculator shows the figures.
Accounts are due at Companies House nine months after the year end. Corporation Tax is payable nine months and one day after the year end, and the CT600 return is due twelve months after. The confirmation statement is due annually within 14 days of the review date. Directors' Self Assessment returns are due by 31 January.
Yes. We write to your current accountant for professional clearance and handover records, set up the HMRC and Companies House authorisations, and pick up from wherever the records are. Many companies switch just after a year end, but there is no bad time if the current arrangement is not working.
Yes. A dormant company still has to file dormant accounts and a confirmation statement each year, and tell HMRC it is not trading. We offer a lower fixed fee for that, and can reactivate the company or strike it off when the time comes.
