Outsourced Accounting & Finance Department
Your finance team, without the hiring.
As your business grows, the finance work grows with it. Rather than hiring, we take full responsibility for your finance department from our own office, so you get a complete team, often for less than the cost of hiring.

Is this the right support?
- Growing businesses that have outgrown doing the books themselves
- Companies that have lost, or cannot justify, an in-house bookkeeper or finance manager
- Owners who want monthly figures they can rely on for decisions
- Businesses reporting to investors, lenders or a board
The work itself.
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and bank reconciliation
- Raising sales invoices and chasing what you are owed
- Processing supplier bills and preparing payment runs for your approval
- Payroll, pensions and expense claims
- VAT returns, year-end accounts and Corporation Tax
- Monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and budgets
- A named accountant who knows your business and attends review meetings

The role of QuickBooks and Xero.
We run outsourced finance in Xero or QuickBooks with apps such as Dext for receipts and your bank's own payment approval. If you are not on cloud software yet, we set it up first.
Agreed before we begin.
We agree exactly which tasks we take on, how often, and who approves what. The fee is a fixed monthly amount based on the volume of work.

Worth asking.
An outside firm runs some or all of your finance function: bookkeeping, invoicing, supplier payments, payroll, VAT and reporting. You keep control of approvals, and avoid the cost and gaps of hiring in-house staff.
Yes. Outsourced bookkeeping on its own is common, and you can add invoicing, payroll or management accounts later as the business grows.
Usually. You pay a fixed monthly fee for the work done, with no recruitment, holiday cover, pension, National Insurance or software training costs, and you get a qualified team rather than one person.
We prepare payment runs and you approve them in your banking app. That keeps you in control and is the safer way to work.
We can work alongside them, taking on the parts they do not cover such as management accounts, VAT and year end, and reviewing their work.
